During the third quarter of 2024, the top sandbox-like games in Germany exhibited intriguing trends across downloads, revenue, and weekly active users, as reported by Sensor Tower.

Roblox from Roblox Corporation maintained a robust revenue stream, peaking at approximately $579K in the last week of July. Downloads saw a notable increase midway through the quarter, reaching around 70K in the second week of August. However, weekly active users showed a gradual decline from nearly 3M at the start of July to about 2.6M by the end of September.

Minecraft: Play with Friends, developed by Mojang, experienced a modest revenue increase, ending the quarter at approximately $85K in the last week of September. Downloads fluctuated slightly, with a peak of about 19K in early August. Meanwhile, active users remained relatively stable, averaging around 550K throughout the quarter.

One State RP: Grand city crime by ChillGaming saw a significant revenue surge, culminating at approximately $60K in the final week of September. Downloads increased steadily, reaching over 22K in the same period. The active user base expanded notably, growing from around 30K in early July to over 56K by the end of the quarter.
